GCES Clubs
Our clubs and extra-curricular programs are a privilege to the students at GCE. We have moved to a system where most of our clubs meet once a month during the day. For those clubs/activities who do meet after hours, all school rules will apply for all after school activities. Disciplinary procedures will be in effect during this time.
Current Club Offerings
Students at Graham Creek Elementary have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities including:
Archery Club
We will meet during a scheduled time to prepare for our annual archery tournament. This club is for 3rd graders and introduces them to archery skills and preparing them to try out for the team in the 4th and 5th grade.
Math Bowl
Our Math Bowl team is comprised of students in grades 4–6. The team is selected in early December. The team meets weekly to prepare for the Math Bowl competition in February.
Spell Bowl
Our Spell Bowl team is comprised of students in grades 4–6. The team is selected by a spelling test given in early fall. The team meets weekly during the first semester to prepare for the Spell Bowl competition.
Student Council
Our student council is a group of students in grades 4–6. The goal of the student council is to promote leadership within our school by teaching students to be good role models. This group promotes good public relations and good citizenship by implementing community service projects. This club meets once a month.
